It Was Amazeum! (groundbreaking, mentos and coke)

Posted by Jeremy Mason McGraw on 17 Apr 2014

A few weeks ago I dropped in the Amazeum‘s temporary offices to find out what it is all about. I spoke with Jo Ann, Sam and Bob. From the very first second, it was clear that whole crew is gleefully passionate about the project. I hung out for a while and they showed me the plans and some of the ideas they have for the place. Their excitement was infectious and I think my expereince there only informs the general level of awesome you can expect when the Amazeum opens its doors next year next to Crystal Bridges.

Yesterday the Amazeum held their official groundbreaking. It was a packed affair with a performance of Mentos and Coke geysers as well as a yet to be identified technicolor foam substance.
